myHC Update & Other News

Hey Guys,

It's sure been a while since we posted on here.

For starters, it looks like my.HunterConnect.com (our client portal) has survived its first malicious attack earlier this evening. A few thousand emails were piped through our support account, perhaps as an attempt to bring down our web support system or somehow impact service.

We acted quickly and have put in place several 'safety valves', to prevent this from happening in the future. Now just to reassure everyone; this is the first time we've had this happen in the 2 years that myHC has been online, so going forward we don't expect these type of incidents to occur with any regularity.

For those of you not familiar with myHunterConnect, or myHC for short, it is our unique web-based, user-friendly client portal; it provides awesome tools that enable our hosting clients to easily communicate with our support team, quickly submit a work order for website modifications, and track its status online. In addition, clients can manage their hosting service, add or remove add-on features and view detailed account information like never before. myHC is the heart of our Managed Hosting and Outdoor SEO offerings.

In case you missed it, 5 years ago we were the outdoor web company that revolutionized web hosting by offering the first hands-free, fully-assisted hosting service now known as "Managed Hosting". Moreover, while it didn't take long for others to catch up, some would say we're still way ahead of the curve when it comes to doing it right. Our clients send in website updates by email, or by opening a ticket through our aforementioned client portal. We make it easy and convenient to keep your website published on the internet, and always up-to-date.

Included with their hosting plan, clients have a 1/2 hour available for website updates each month, and most requests we receive are carried out within 1 to 3 business days. Not bad, huh? Learn all about our plans.

In other news, we've been enjoying our busiest year yet, and doing our best to keep up with an overwhelming number of projects, so things are moving a little slow here on the west coast.

Lastly, while we don't have anything new to introduce today, our team is gearing up for a series of exciting announcements that will be made sometime in the next several months. We think you'll want to stay tuned.
